Priority Primary Care Centre (PPCC)
Supporting Mildura Base Public Hospital
The Mildura Priority Primary Care Centre (PPCC) provides free care and treatment for urgent but non-life-threatening conditions.
If you have an ilness or injury that needs urgent treatment but it is not an emergency you can access the clinic and be treated by a doctor.
Our doctors can treat conditions such as:
- mild to moderate infections
- fever
- pain when urinating
- suspected fractures and sprains
- back and muscle pain
- minor cuts, burns, and insect or animal bites
- heartburn, vomiting, nausea
- headaches, migraines and brief fainting
- constipation, diarrhoea
- allergies and rashes
- light bleeding in the first trimester of pregnancy
- mild to moderate asthma attacks, coughs and other respiratory symptoms.*
All emergencies should present at the Emergency Department at Mildura Base Public Hospital or call triple zero (000)
If you require a normal GP consultation please contact your regular family doctor.
Care is available for everyone needing urgent treatment, with or without a Medicare card at no cost to the patient

The PPCC is located at Sunraysia Community Health Services, 137 Thirteenth Street, Mildura.
Monday – Friday: 9.00am – 4.30pm
Saturday: 9am – 4.30pm

Eligibility
Anyone with an urgent but non-life-threatening condition can access the clinic free of charge. People without a medicare card can attend.
