HomeBase Youth Services

EST 2018

HomeBase Youth Services is located at 89-91 Pine Avenue and is an SCHS initiative dedicated to building a stronger community by empowering youth.

Homebase is a safe and supportive space for young people, free from drugs, alcohol, and violence. The youth-driven model encourages leadership, self-determination, and ownership through co-designed activities.

HomeBase is committed to assist and work with any young person who comes through the door. This commitment is a true emulation of a no wrong door policy and creates a trusting service environment for young people to develop life skills, building healthy relationships and social connectedness.

HomeBase Hub

The Homebase Hub is a drop-in centre open Wednesday to Friday, 3:30pm – 7:00pm. The Hub provides a safe space for people aged 10-17 years old to come and hang out with friends. The Hub has food, clothing and personal care items available, and can support young people to link in with other services as needed.
