HomeBase Activities

Our Service

HomeBase Activities welcomes all young people aged 10 to 17 years, providing the opportunity to interact and engage in organised, prosocial and meaningful activities. It provides a setting to seek information, support, and services, develop life skills, make social connection and spend time with other young people and trusted adults.

Activities may be provided at SCHS or in a community setting and include:

  • Arts and craft
  • Dancing
  • Boxing
  • Bush walking
  • Swimming
  • Ten Pin Bowling
  • Trivia Nights
  • Board Games

When attending HomeBase activities, young people are provided with a healthy meal, all activity resources, meaningful social connection, experienced supervision and transport if required.

Who can use this service?

HomeBase activities groups are open to all young people aged 10-17 years. SCHS HomeBase Services are provided to young people who live in the Sunraysia Region.

Registering for HomeBase activities is simple. Sign up for your chosen event though the below Eventbrite link, and we will contact you and your parent before the scheduled activity.

Youth AOD Services

Youth Alcohol and other drugs (AOD) services support young people (up to 25 years old) dealing with AOD issues.

Community Health Nurse

Providing one-on-one consultations for young people in a safe space to answer any questions or health concerns they may have.

(YES) Program

providing young people aged 12 to 25 with support to develop soft employment skills, education, work experience and pathways.

Youth Activities

A range of engaging activities offered for free to young people, promoting creative expression, mental health education, and skill-building.
