The Role
The Central Sterilisation Services Department (CSSD) is responsible for the sterilisation and storage of instruments and equipment.
The Instrument Technician is responsible for cleaning, disinfecting, sterilising and storage of instruments and equipment. used by the Dental, Podiatry and Clinic teams across SCHS.
KEY SELECTION CRITERIA:
Mandatory
- An understanding of infection control principles.
- An ability to work in a team environment.
- Planning and organisation skills.
- Experience working within a CSSD or similar environment.
- Certificate IV in an Instrument Technician qualification (or working towards).
