Welcome to SCHS Telehealth
This service lets you attend your appointment by secure and private video and you can join from home or anywhere private.
On this page you’ll find simple steps to help you get ready, check your device, and join your video call.
Please read the information below before starting your telehealth video call.
- You will receive a confirmation letter, email or SMS outlining your appointment day and time.
- We recommend doing a test call before your appointment to make sure everything works well, including your camera and microphone. You can do a test call by clicking this link:

You will need
- A well-lit, quiet and private area for your call, so that you will not be disturbed during the appointment.
- A good connection to the internet using your computer, laptop or tablet, you can also use your smartphone (iPhone or Android). As long as your device has a camera and microphone.
- Pen and paper if you would like to take any notes.
Start your call 5-10 minutes before your appointment time.
- Click Start video call above to begin your call.
- Select the clinic you will be attending and follow the prompts
- Remember to allow vcc.healthdirect to use your microphone and camera
- Use the Test call button anytime to check your internet connection and equipment.

Before your call begins, the system will check that your equipment is ready by:
- Test your internet speed
- Check your speakers
- Check your microphone
- Check your camera
Important: When prompted, click "Allow" to give the site permission to access your camera and microphone.
You’ll then be asked to:
- Enter your name and phone number
Accept the terms of use - Agree to the privacy policy
