Welcome to the Mildura Urgent Care Clinic (UCC) located at Sunraysia Community Health Services. We provide medical care for urgent, non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries. Upon arrival, our team will assess your condition and prioritise treatment based on the severity of your symptoms. Patients with more critical needs will be seen first. While we strive to provide timely and efficient care for everyone, please be aware that there may be wait times before you are seen.

Pathology and Radiology services are not provided onsite and there may be an associated cost to accessing these services.
Prescriptions: The Mildura UCC does not prescribe Schedule 8 medications (or benzodiazepines).
The UCC GP can prescribe medication necessary to manage your urgent medical condition, but please continue to see your regular GP for routine prescriptions or chronic medications.

What we do
Anyone with an urgent but non-life-threatening condition can access the clinic free of charge. People without a medicare card can also attend.
- mild to moderate infections
- fever
- pain when urinating
- suspected fractures and sprains
- back and muscle pain
- minor cuts, burns, and insect or animal bites
- heartburn, vomiting, nausea
- headaches, migraines
- constipation, diarrhoea, abdominal pain
- allergies and rashes
- mild to moderate asthma attacks,
- coughs and other respiratory symptoms

If you are or someone you know is experiencing an immediate or life threatening emergency call Triple Zero (000) or visit your nearest emergency department.
When to:
Call Triple Zero (000) or visit nearest emergency department if you or someone you know is experiencing a life-threatening emergency such as:
- Difficulty breathing
- Severe bleeding
- Unconsciousness
- Lips and face turning blue
- Becoming agitated, confused or very drowsy
- Chest pain or chest tightness
- Sudden numbness or paralysis of the face, arm or leg
- Large burns
- Serious accidents or trauma
- Extreme pain
What to expect when you visit to the UCC
- After you’ve given your details to our reception staff, you’ll be asked to wait in the waiting room.
- People with the most urgent health care needs will be seen first.
- Our doctors and nurses will decide who needs to be seen fastest. This means you might have to wait a little while, even if you have an appointment.
- This can be a very busy place. If your situation isn’t urgent, we might refer you to your GP or medical centre.
