CONSUMER ADVISORY COMMITTEE
The purpose of the Consumer Advisory Committee (CAC) at Sunraysia Community Health Services (SCHS) is to provide a community perspective in relation to the planning, delivery and evaluation of SCHS’ programs and services.
The community members will bring their own diverse experience and knowledge, sharing a common interest in the provision of health care. The community members will advise the CEO and Executive on priority areas and issues requiring consumer and community participation, and on matters of community interest or concern.
Community member representatives will be encouraged to utilise their personal social networks to discuss SCHS services and bring any associated broad issues, concerns, comments arising from such discussions to the attention of the committee.
The community members will help ensure that the community is informed of SCHS services and processes.
