Our Service
The Support for Carers Program helps carers improve their own health and wellbeing and supports them to connect with services whilst providing care to family.
The assistance can be one-off or time limited o short term and will assist to improve the quality of life, physical and mental wellbeing of the carer. There is often a lot of support for those being cared for but not a for the carers themselves.
This program fills gaps or meets needs that are one-off and are not met by any other programs (Other programs may include Commonwealth Governments Integrated Carer Support Service, Commonwealth Home Support Program, NDIS, a mental health support program, a home care package, palliative care or an aged care facility).
Access to this program will be assessed by our friendly Support for Carers Program co-ordinator and will be provided according to the level of need completed at intake.
