How can a Podiatrist help you?

A podiatrist is trained to assess, diagnose, and treat foot and lower limb problems. These may include skin and nail problems, foot and ankle injuries, foot complications related to diabetes and other medical conditions and problems with gait or walking.
Our Podiatry service can assist with the following:
Treatment for thickened, discolored or ingrown toenails including routine nail care for people unable to manage their own foot care.

  • Treatment for corns, calluses and cracks to the skin of the foot
  • Treatment for warts and other skin conditions
  • Toenail surgery for recurring painful, ingrown toenails.
  • Management of the high-risk foot including wound management for the foot.
  • Treatment of painful feet and foot deformities
  • Footwear advice and orthotic prescription

Our podiatrists will listen to your needs and work with you to plan the most appropriate treatment, setting goals, developing a treatment plan, and promoting self-care to manage your foot health. You’ll be actively involved in your care, empowering you to maintain long-term foot health.
