Our Service
Sunraysia Community Health Services provides a range of Alcohol and Other Drug Services. The team provides support, information and care for individuals with substance abuse or addiction.
Who can use this service
The different services listed below are available for people working and living in Mildura, Ouyen, Robinvale and surrounding areas. Face to face, telephone and telehealth appointments are available.
Cost
SCHS Drug Treatment Services are free of charge, however, please note pharmacy costs apply for any prescribed medications.

To be referred to our Drug Treatment Services, Please contact the Victorian Catchment Agency, ACSO on 1300 022 760 .
Alternatively you can get a referral from your GP.

Daybreak
The SCHS Daybreak program is a therapeutic day non-residential rehabilitation program for people seeking treatment for alcohol and other drugs. This program incorporates cognitive behavioral therapies and group counselling. Therapeutic rehabilitation allows people to remain at home, maintaining connections with family, friends, and the community.
AOD Counselling
Our Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) Counselling service supports clients in learning harm reduction and relapse prevention strategies.
We work closely with clients to develop personalised recovery plans that address their individual needs. Counselling can be provided face-to-face, online, or via telephone.

Pharmacotherapy
Pharmacotherapy refers to the use of medication in the treatment of opioid addiction. Consumers seeking support can be linked with General Practitioners or Addiction Medicine Specialists for assessment and initiation of opioid replacement therapy.
Withdrawal Nursing
Our Withdrawal Nurse's can provide information, assessment, advice, and support to consumers, family members, and General Practitioners regarding the planned withdrawal from alcohol and other drugs.
